Delta Air Lines is preparing to launch its next-generation Delta One Suites in early 2027, debuting on the new Airbus A350-1000, where approximately 50% of the aircraft will be dedicated to premium seating.
The upgraded suites are designed to enhance the business class experience, featuring longer lie-flat beds, memory foam cushions with an added pillow-top layer, improved personal storage including space for shoes, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless charging, and a 24-inch 4K “cinema-quality” entertainment screen.
The cabin layout will also focus on privacy, with window-facing suites along the sides and center seats equipped with sliding dividers. In parallel, Delta will retrofit its Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 fleet with many of these features, including Delta One Suites with privacy doors, updated lighting, USB-C ports, and refreshed interiors. Across both aircraft types, passengers will benefit from enhanced onboard amenities such as snack stations, upgraded accessibility features including tactile seat controls, and more spacious lavatories.
All cabins will also feature modern technology, including larger seatback screens, universal power outlets, and Bluetooth connectivity. Delta expects that by 2030, 90% of its Delta One seats will be enclosed suites, as part of a broader $1 billion investment in fleet upgrades, with plans to introduce new cabin interiors across more than 800 aircraft over the next five years.
