AEGEAN Airlines has announced changes to its Miles+Bonus loyalty program, introducing new rules for tier upgrades and renewals, as well as a new Platinum status.
A key change is the introduction of a flight-based qualification rule. Members will now be able to upgrade or retain Silver and Gold status solely based on the number of flights completed within the AEGEAN and Olympic Air network. This approach places greater emphasis on frequent travel, both domestic and international.
At the same time, AEGEAN has updated the existing criteria for Silver and Gold tiers, including adjustments to the required number of flights and miles. Benefits for these tiers have also been enhanced, offering additional options and privileges to frequent travelers.
The program also welcomes the new Platinum tier, designed for members with the highest flight activity, providing enhanced benefits and more personalized services.
Overall, the updated Miles+Bonus program reflects a stronger focus on recognizing consistent travel activity and supporting the needs of frequent AEGEAN passengers, particularly business travelers.
A transition period of at least 12 months has been set, allowing members time to adjust to the updated program.
